I bought this to go on the rear of BMW 800 gsa instead of the soft bag I've been using for years. It seemed solidly built but it quickly developed problems. The base plate supplied developed stress fractures in a few hundred kilometres and I was told by a metal fabricator that this is because it is cast aluminium rather than sheet. I got no response from the seller so I went ahead and commissioned a new base plate from a local fabricator for a $150. Job done - or so I thought. On further use the box continued to rattle so I eventually pulled it all apart and found that the base of the box had developed stress fractures around the mounting points. Responses from the supplier amounted to an offer to purchase another at the same price I had originally paid. So effectively no response at all. I am now looking for another luggage solution but it won't be a Pazoma brand item.
